| We
would like to introduce you to Tempranillo Los
Pinos, a wine that is made from rigorously
selected grapes.
The Tempranillo variety, here, is
cultivated mainly in glass and produces little amount
of grape. Their berry and cluster are of small size
in this little fertile earth. Shoot at the end of March,
blooms at the beginning of April and vendimia the first
fortnight of September.
PREDIO DE LOS PINOS 2006, from LA MANCHA
show a Purple and clean aromas of strawberries with
hints of mineral and balsamic nuances. Medium body with
a good length and elegant finish. Perfect by the galss,
pasta or cheese.
La
Mancha DO is Spain's and Europe's largest
designated quality-wine area, with around 420,000
acres of vineyard land. Ninety percent of it is
planted with AIRÉN.
La Mancha DO has had a reputation for producing
dull, yellowish, high-ALCOHOL, somewhat OXIDIZED
wines. Thanks to new modern equipment and winemaking
techniques, La Mancha is now producing light,
crisp, fruity, and slightly aromatic white wines
that are gaining a better image. The small amount
of red wine from this area comes chiefly from
the Cencibel (TEMPRANILLO) grape. |
